Hello Swim Florida families.
I need your HELP! I will be volunteering again at the Lee County Homeless Coalition’s 17th Annual Homeless Service Day and Veterans Stand Down event. This is a collaborative effort which includes many agencies and organizations committed to providing essential goods and services to the homeless and veteran populations. With over 2,000 homeless persons in Lee County, please consider donating your gently used or new swim towels, Gatorade, and sunscreen. The holidays is a great time to stock up on new towels and get rid of your old ones! To make it easy for you, I will gladly wash and dry all the donated towels. I will have a bin labeled “donations” placed in the Deleon pool shed for your convenience. And I will be on the Deleon pool deck if you’d like to give me your donations directly. The event takes place January 21st and I hope to be taking lots of donations from our Swim Florida families. The video below is from last year’s event.
